How do I sign up?
Just visit our get started page or call us at 407-624-5088
How long does it take to sign up?
Usually it will take about 5-10 minutes to register and get started.
What do I need to sign up for Xubex?
We need demographic information, valid prescription & valid form of payment.
Do I need to get all new prescriptions before I sign up?
No, as long as your old prescriptions have valid refills, we can transfer from your old pharmacy.
Can I sign someone else up?
Yes, we will need all their demographic information.
Do you fill controlled medications?
We can ship class III-V controlled medication. We do not ship Class II medications
Do you offer a referral program?
Not at this time.
How do I fill my prescriptions with Xubex?
Simply mail your prescription to us or your physician may call it in at 407-624-5088 or fax it to us at 407-767-7770
How long does it take to receive my first shipment after I sign up?
If we have a valid prescription & form of payment you should receive your first shipment within 2-4 business days.
Refills
What do I have to do to make sure my refills are in place on time?
You may upload your refill request via our secure patient portal or you may call to speak to a customer service representative at 407-624-5088
How do you contact my doctor for refills?
Usually we contact your physician via phone, electronic request or fax.
How do you handle prior authorizations?
We will fax the information to your physician.
How do you make sure I get my refills on time?
Order your refills at least 7 days in advance to make sure you receive your medications in a timely manner.
What happens if I have prescriptions with different doctors?
Our pharmacist will verify that there are no interactions between the medications from different physicians.
Billing and insurance
How much does it cost to use Xubex?
There is no cost for using Xubex.
What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most inurances.
How much are my copays?
All insurances have different co-pays. We would run the prescription claim & let you know what the co-pay would be.
How does billing work?
We run your prescription through your insurance which dictates your co-pay.
How do I pay my bill?
We accept Credit Cards, Money Order or Check. Please do not send cash.
Do you offer discounts or financial assistance?
We do offer discounts but not financial assistance
How do you get my insurance information?
You can submit your information through your Xubex user profile page.
Is there a long-term commitment for using Xubex?
No, if you are not happy with our service, we will be happy to transfer your prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice.
What if my insurance requires that I fill my prescriptions from another pharmacy?
We would call your insurance carrier to verify you must fill at that particular pharmacy, if you do not, we are happy to fill the medications.
Do you fill 90-day supplies?
Yes, as long as the physician writes for a 90 day supply of medications.
Which pharmacy benefit managers does Xubex contract with?
We accept most insurances.
Shipping
Is it safe to ship medication?
Yes, we pack & ship your medications with care to ensure your medications arrive safely to you.
How do you ship my medication?
Normally we ship by USPS. We can ship by FedEx or UPS (cost will be different)
Can you do an emergency shipment or overnight a shipment?
Yes we can do an emergency shipment, however, there is an additional cost to ship overnight.
Can you ship prescriptions to my state?
This service currently is only available in Florida.
How can I change my address?
You may change it through the patient portal or call 407-624-5088.
How often do you ship?
Monday thru Friday. Excluding Holidays.
What do you do if I go away or on vacation?
We can fill your prescription early, but if it is a controlled medication, we would need to contact the physician to get an approval for an early fill.
What happens if I need an antibiotic right away?
If you are in need of an antibiotic, it is recommended that you fill at your local pharmacy.
What if my order is delayed?
We will call or email to let you know the reason for the delay
Medication Management
What happens if I get a new prescription?
Your physician may call it in to our pharmacist at 407-624-5088 or fax it to 407-767-7770 or you may send it via USPS.
Can my doctor send prescriptions directly to Xubex?
Yes, either called in verbally, faxed or electronically sent
What do I do if my doctor changes a dose of my medication?
We would contact the physician to verify & see when the new doseage can be filled.
Can you send insulin and diabetic testing supplies like test strips and needles for insulin pens?
Yes, however, insulin would need to be shipped overnight cold ship (extra shipping charge) testing supplies and syringes could be shipped USPS
Do you dispense brand or generic medications? Will you ever substitute medications?
We dispense mainly generic medications, however, we can dispense brand name medications if requested ( brand pricing applies)
How do you handle controlled drugs?
We can ship class III-V controlled medications. We do not ship Class II medications.
How should I dispose of my medications? Does Xubex take back my old medications or needles?
No, we do not dispose of old medications or needles
Do you fill 90-day supplies?
Yes, as long as your physician writes for a 90 day supply ( If you have insurance a 90 day supply will depend on your plan)
What do you do about dose changes?
We would contact the physician to verify & see when the new doseage can be filled.
Can you include vitamins in my Xubex order?
Yes, we can send vitamins with your order.
What do I do if I have an adverse reaction to a medication?
Call the prescribing physician to discuss alternative medications.
What happens if I need an antibiotic right away?
If you are in need of an antibiotic, it is recommended that you fill at your local pharmacy.
What if my prescription has specific directions?
Specific directions will be on the medication bottle/box
What if you can’t get the specific medication I was prescribed?
If we cannot obtain the specific medication you requested, we can transfer to another pharmacy of your choice.
When are Xubex pharmacists available for consultation?
Our pharmacists are available to speak with you Monday thru Friday 9-5pm

How do you get my prescription and personal information?
You may fill out your personal information through our secure patient portal, your physician may call or fax your prescriptions to us.
Is my account secure?
Yes. We use the latest security services to insure your security and privacy.
Do you share my information?
No, we keep all your information private and secure.

We have a pharmacist on staff to answer your calls Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

How do I turn on SMS notifications?
This ability is part of your user profile. Login to your Xubex account and click on your email link on top of the page and manage your notifications
What if I don’t check my email regularly?
Your communications are also available through your Xubex account.
What types of emails will I receive?
Reminders for your refills and tracking information for your shipment.
Who do I contact if I’m a caregiver?
You may call the pharmacy at 407-624-5088. We will need a signed release from your patient(s) stating we can discuss their medications with you.
